December 2025 Events

KCRA 3 and  CHiPs for Kids Toy Drive   Saturday TBD

Meeting Time:  11:30 AM       Departure Time:  11:50 AM
Meeting Place:  Century Theater Parking Lot, 1540 Ethan Way, Sacramento

Please line up in the spaces along the south end of the parking lot away from the theater doors.  As long as we have good weather, (No rain!!) Santa and Mrs. Claus will be leading us in a short Model A parade to the main entrance of Cal Expo (at Exposition Blvd and Heritage Lane).  You are welcome to bring as many UNWRAPPED toys as you would like to donate!  Modern cars and their owners are also welcome.

Capitol A’s Annual Christmas Party  

This year’s Christmas event will be Saturday, December 13th starting at noon.

Carmichael Park Community Club House
5750 Grant Ave, Carmichael, CA
(Across the parking lot from our regular meeting location)

Event begins            12:00 pm
Food served             12:30 pm
Santa arrives            1:30 pm – 1:45 pm
Event wraps up        3:00 pm

Club officers and board members will be providing the main dish entrees, like ham and turkey including a vegetarian option. Decaf coffee, a holiday punch and water will be available for drinks.

Please bring your assigned dish to serve 8 – 12.

• Last name A – F  Dessert    A Christmas sheet cake will be provided.
• Last name G – P  Salad such as macaroni, potato, three bean, jello, spinach salad, green leafy, or carrot salad, etc.
• Last name R – Z Hot side dish such as baked beans, mashed potatoes, stuffing, vegetables, casseroles, rice, or vegetarian, or your favorite side dish.  

Santa will arrive bringing gifts and stockings for the kids.  He is happy to be back and ready to meet the kids again !  If you are bringing grandchildren or great grandchildren, please bring a wrapped gift with first and last name clearly marked.  Remember to keep this a secret then Santa will appear really magical when he knows what the child has asked for.
